MUSCULAR ACHES

Your body contains over 300 muscles, so it's not surprising that some of them complain from time to time! We are all familiar with muscular aches, whether they are associated with tired legs, a stiff neck, or chronic back pain.

Muscular aches result from all sorts of activities, whether it's heavy work at home or in the garden, or repetitive tasks at work which can ultimately lead to Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI).

For sporty types, muscular aches can be caused by not warming up properly before a game. Four out of five sports injuries involve damage to 'soft tissue' i.e. muscles, tendons and ligaments. Tendons are the things that attach your muscles to your bones. Ligaments are strong bands of white tissue that link bones together and stop joints from going beyond their normal range.

Soft tissue can be damaged by sudden movements, or by excessive stretching, for instance if you don't warm up properly. Injuries can result in tendons becoming inflamed or even tearing, and muscles being strained or sprained. Muscular aches can also be associated with more severe conditions such as rheumatic Pain and some forms of arthritis.

For some muscular aches cold packs can be used to help reduce swelling. If the pain persists, you should always consult a medical practitioner, but in all cases using PainEaze Pain Relief Spray and Roll-on can give you joint and muscle pain relief, taking away the pain while your body heals itself.
